This calculator calculates for concentration or density values that are between those given in the table below by a
process called interpolation. Input a temperature and density within the range of the table to calculate for
concentration or input concentration to calculate for density. The table below gives the density (kg/L) and the corresponding
concentration (% weight) of Ferric Chloride (FeCl3) solutions in water at different temperatures in degrees centigrade (°C).
The table was provided by the Solvay company. Another Ferric Chloride Calculator has
been provided here with the table taken from "Perry's Chemical Engineers' Handbook" by Robert H. Perry, Don Green, Seventh Edition.
This other calculator is more accurate (4 decimal places) but more limited in temperature range. There is good agreement in the density values of these
